We are looking for a top-performing school leader to lead the Australian arm of our business through this exciting phase of growth. This is a rare opportunity to combine your deep passion and drive in education with strong commercial acumen and an action-orientated mindset. You will likely be in school senior leadership or in a diocese or school network—have proven you can lead and deliver change—and keen to use your skills, network, and passion on a wider stage.
You should be passionate about education, especially to see literacy levels rise in Australia; familiarity and knowledge of the Writer's Toolbox programme is an advantage.
About the Role:
Our Head of Schools (Australia) is responsible for Writer's Toolbox Australian operation. As such, you play a pivotal role leading and driving the continued strategic growth and sustaining the level of educational excellence in the organisation already achieved. This is a hands-on, dynamic leadership opportunity for a proven high performer. Based in our Brisbane HQ, this is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and progression. No two days are the same: you could be meeting with a diocese, reviewing operational efficiency, supporting school leaders in client schools, speaking at a key conference.

What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for the educational, financial and operational performance of our entire Australian business
- Ensure Australian operations deliver sustained growth and exceptional service
- Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery aligned with the company's strategic objectives
- Develop and implement robust business plans, budgets
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing organisational culture
- Represent the company at key events
- Build and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, identifying new growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and internal policies.

- Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams

- Tertiary qualifications in education and management
