Role Description

This is a voluntary, contract role for a Vocational Academic Board Member at Mayfield Education. The position is on-site, located in Hawthorn East, VIC. The Vocational Academic Board Member will participate in board meetings, contribute to strategic planning, assess and review curriculum development, ensure adherence to educational standards, and provide insights into industry trends and workforce needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in curriculum development and educational assessment
  • Knowledge of industry trends and workforce needs in the healthcare sector
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with tertiary education and vocational training
  • Commitment to educational excellence and ongoing improvement
  • Experience with non-profit organizations is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
