About the RoleWe are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join our high school team two to three days a week.
This is a permanent part-time position, teaching students from Years 7–12.
You will work closely with a passionate Mathematics teacher who delights in problem-solving and in helping students connect with mathematical ideas in meaningful ways. Together, you'll nurture a sense of wonder and confidence in every learner - meeting students where they are, and helping them move forward with understanding and self-esteem intact
We're Looking For Someone Who- Loves helping students enjoy mathematics and see its patterns, puzzles and purpose.
- Is able to teach across Stages 4–6, or is willing to grow into that with support.
- Understands that learning happens best through relationship and encouragement.
- Keeps clear and accurate paperwork, while focusing on the young people behind the progress.
- Values collaboration within a small, close-knit staff team and wider school community.
- Demonstrates an active Christian faith, a love for God's Word, and a heart for young people.
- Is a positive role model - humble, patient, teachable, and keen to help each student recognise their strengths and learn from their challenges.
- Be part of a genuinely warm and supportive team that prays together, laughs together and celebrates student learning.
- Enjoy the flexibility of part-time teaching in a permanent role - ideal for balance and wellbeing.
- Teach in small classes where relationships matter and creativity is encouraged.
- Teach Mathematics without losing the heart behind it - connecting abstract concepts with real life, creation and God's design.

- Current NSW Teacher Accreditation (all stages considered)
- Qualifications and/or experience in Mathematics education (Stages 4–6).
- Commitment to the ethos and faith statement of Yanginanook School.
- Willingness to participate fully in the life and faith of the school community.
