We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join our friendly and supportive school community at Kenmore State High School.
We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cleaner to help maintain our
classrooms and facilities to a high standard, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and spotless environment for students and staff.
This role will commence in January 2026.

About the Role
The Cleaner will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the school environment. Reporting to the Principal or their delegate, the Cleaner will ensure all duties are completed to a high standard in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal.
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, toilets, offices, and communal areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including paved surfaces and drains.
- Support basic site security procedures, including locking and unlocking buildings.
- Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns to relevant personnel.
This role would suit someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff.
