This is a part-time with the chance of moving to full time onsite role for an Electrical Test & Tag and Cert 2 Fire Technician located in Central Coast, NSW. The day-to-day tasks include performing electrical test and tag services, conducting routine checks and maintenance on electrical equipment, inspect and test portable fire equipment and emergency and exit lighting.

The technician will also document all testing procedures and results, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Testing and tagging portable electrical appliances (AS/ NZS 3760), Testing and Inspecting Portable Fire Equipment (AS/NZS1851), Testing and inspection Emergency and Exit Light Systems (AS/NZS
  • Servicing clients throughout the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle areas
  • Interacting professionally with our commercial clients
  • Accurately logging test results via our mobile top of the range PAT Tester which you will be trained to use

What you will require

  • Driver license and reliable vehicle
  • Working With Children's Check - or willingness to obtain
  • Police Check - or willingness to obtain
  • White Card
  • Good presentation and communication as this is a face to face role
  • Flexibility to work between 6am - 6pm Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety
  • On time, Reliable, Punctual and able to meet client's needs and timelines
  • Previous Test & Tag and Fire experience is a bonus, but not essential
