We're on the search for an experienced
Senior Developer (Android)
to join our engineering team based in
North Sydney
ona
permanent full-time
basis. You'll lead the design, development, and delivery of high‑quality Android applications — setting coding standards, guiding architectural decisions, and working closely with Product, Design, QA, and offshore teams to build mobile products that delight our customers.

So, what's the job?

• You'll lead the end‑to‑end design and delivery of high‑quality Android applications
• You'll make architectural and technology decisions aligned with best practices (MVVM, Jetpack, Kotlin Coroutines)
• You'll establish and enforce Android coding standards, code quality practices, and CI/CD integration
• You'll c ollaborate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure consistent code quality and development velocity.
• You'll o wn the technical roadmap and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and release strategies.
• You'll guide release management and app submission to the Play Store, ensuring a smooth deployment process

And what are we looking for?

• You'll have 6+ years' experience in Android development, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or lead role
• You'll be an expert in Kotlin and the Android SDK, with strong knowledge of Android Architecture Components, Jetpack, MVVM, and Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger)
• You'll be proficient integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and working with authentication frameworks (OAuth, JWT)
• You'll have experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and mobile testing frameworks
• You'll have strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable architecture
• You'll have experience mentoring engineers and working with offshore or remote teams
• You'll have published apps on the Play Store and have a solid understanding of mobile app performance, monitoring, and analytics
