Located in the heart of Frankston and on the edge of the Mornington Peninsula, our 78-room property attracts both business and leisure guests who love our warm service, local knowledge, and welcoming atmosphere.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Person / Room Attendant to join our friendly team on a casual basis.

This dual role plays a key part in maintaining our high presentation standards and ensuring a safe, comfortable experience for every guest.

Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of apartments, public areas, and equipment.
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues promptly and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Performing routine property checks and maintaining safety standards.
  • Assisting the housekeeping team with room cleaning, bed making, and restocking amenities when required.
  • Cleaning and preparing studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments to Quest brand standards.
  • Supporting the team to ensure efficient operations based on occupancy levels and guest needs.

The Ideal Candidate

You'll bring:

  • A can-do attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • A friendly, approachable manner and excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A good understanding of workplace safety.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or a similar role (a trade qualification will be highly regarded).

Requirements

  • Must have working rights in Australia.
  • Availability to work across different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
