About the Role

IRT is committed to enhancing our leadership capabilities, creating an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Services Team Leader in our Aged Care Employee role at Crown Gardens. In this position, you'll lead the design, planning, delivery, and assessment of activity and lifestyle programs for our residents.

We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our team at the following location:

IRT Crown Gardens, Batemans Bay

  • Permanent Part-Time Role
  • Minimum hours per week

Your work will include:

Leading, mentoring and supervising Lifestyle Officers, including reviewing performance

Coordination of onsite volunteers
Liaising with internal shared service teams & external services and community group- s
Responding to employee, resident and client concerns in line with IRT's complaints management policy (commence workplace conduct investigations as required- )
Participating in Accreditation processes including preparation and site visit- s
Ensuring the management and delivery of the lifestyle program meets compliance standards and is in line with IRT polic- y
Participating in the recruitment, selection and orientation of team members in line with IRT's policies and procedures

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle
  • Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain)
    Proven experience in a similar rol- e
    Sound verbal, written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skill- s
    Demonstrated problem solving, negotiating and organisational skills
    Ability to plan and prioritise own work and/or work of others to meet deadline- s
    Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standard- s
