Multiple Locations: Sydney Melbourne Brisbane and ACT

My client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior OpenShift Administrator who can navigate the monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of on-premises Red Hat OpenShift clusters, particularly within the context of government services.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in system administering - Including experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes cluster administration.Extensive experience in Kubernetes administration - Including networking, security, storage, and troubleshooting within containerised environments.
  • Experience in a government or highly regulated environment, with demonstrated compliance to standards such as the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Essential 8 3. Mandatory
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent certification
Desirable criteria
  • Certifications in Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or a willingness to obtain these certifications within the first 3-6 months of employment.

  • Experience and knowledge across a breadth of ICT technologies or methodologies is highly desirable, these include:

    • Kubernetes
    • Ansible
    • Helm
    • Python & Bash
    • CI/CD Pipelines
    • Git
    • Linux
