CSA Mine is looking for an experienced Electrician with AutoMine system experience to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of Sandvik AutoMine solutions across our underground fleet. This role plays a critical part in the mine's digital transformation and safety-driven automation strategy.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain AutoMine hardware and system interfaces on Sandvik mobile equipment
  • Work alongside OEM reps, control engineers, and IT to ensure reliable system performance
  • Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs related to autonomous or tele-remote systems
  • Assist in system upgrades, testing, and commissioning
  • Support underground operations with remote control systems and traffic management configurations
  • Ensure all work meets CSA's safety, quality, and operational standards
What You'll Bring
  • ANY state-recognised Electrical Trade Certificate + current Electrical Licence
  • Previous experience with Sandvik AutoMine systems (essential)
  • Strong understanding of automation, networking, and mining control systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in an underground mining environment (preferred)
