Curtain Sewer

Are you an experienced sewer who takes pride in creating high-quality curtains and soft furnishings? Do you enjoy working with beautiful fabrics and producing work that makes a real difference in people's homes?

We're a locally owned curtain business based in Toowoomba, with an on-site workroom where we design and make custom curtains and window furnishings. We're currently looking for a skilled Curtain Sewer / Sewing Machinist to join our friendly team on a casual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sewing machines to make custom curtains and soft furnishings to a high standard.

• Work with a range of fabrics and follow measurements and specifications accurately.

• Ensure all products are made with care, precision, and attention to detail.

• Maintain a tidy and organised work area.

• Work efficiently and meet timeframes while maintaining quality workmanship.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience operating commercial or industrial sewing machines is highly desirable.

• Previous experience sewing curtains or similar soft furnishings is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality work.

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Love sewing but don't have curtain experience?
