The Opportunity

Are you ready to take the lead on exciting civil design projects? As Senior Civil Designer, you'll work side by side with talented engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver designs that shape the places people live, work, and play.

This role isn't just about today – it's about the future. We're looking for someone with ambition and drive, as this position has a clear pathway into leadership and the potential for equity options down the track as the company grows.

You'll experience a culture where collaboration and relationships matter, designers are encouraged to attend meetings and visit project sites, and project variety keeps every day fresh with multiple projects on the go at once. Plus, you'll work on a mix of regional and local projects that have a genuine community impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Create and review civil design drawings and documentation for land development, infrastructure, and urban projects.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to deliver smart, practical solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders including councils, contractors, and consultants to bring projects to life.
  • Mentor junior designers, sharing your expertise and lifting the whole team's capability.
  • Ensure quality and compliance, keeping everything on track with standards and regulations.

About You

  • Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Civil Engineering Design or a related field.
  • 5+ years of civil design experience with a focus on land development or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, Music, 2FLOW, and Civil 3D.
  • Knowledge of local authority standards and requirements.
  • Excellent communicator and natural team player.
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
