About the role: 

  • Effective and strategic management of the Acute Division of Allied Health which includes Clinical Allied Health, Non-clinical Allied Health, Spiritual Health and the Arts-in Health program
  • Advocacy for Acute Allied Health resourcing and funding
  • Lead, develop and foster a positive work culture
  • Coordinate and implement Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement activities and programs
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality and safe care, consistent with the SALHN Clinical Governance Framework and Consumer and Carer Engagement Strategy

About you:

  • Must hold an appropriate degree level qualification and membership (or eligibility for membership) with the relevant professional association, and/or registration with the relevant Board, as prescribed by the SA Health Workforce Operations Advice: Minimum qualification requirements for non-executive SA Health employees
  • An experienced, innovative and inspiring leader, who has a deep understanding of clinical governance, safety and risk management
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to embrace and implement change
