At Halcyon Agency, we help ambitious founders and professionals grow their brand through short-form video using our proven system, Content OS. We handle everything from strategy and research to scripting, filming, editing, and distribution (including meta ads) - delivering a full month of high-impact content from one monthly shoot.

We work primarily with founders in property, finance, and professional services - helping them build authority, generate leads, and scale through consistent, high-performing content.

Role Description:

We're looking for a Videographer Marketer, who is a gun at video content but thinks like a Marketer, to join our growing team in Concord, NSW. This is a full-time, on-site role where you'll be responsible to create content that looks incredible and performs: building brands, generating leads, and fuelling paid campaigns.

This role demands someone who understands both the art of content and the science of business growth.

Who You Are:
  • A videographer with taste: You shoot clean, premium visuals quickly and consistently.
  • A marketing thinker: You understand how content drives organic growth, paid campaigns, and funnels.
  • Industry-aware: You have an understanding of the property, finance, and professional services space - how founders in these industries build trust, authority, and attract clients through content.
  • An editing lead: You can manage timelines, briefs, and output from a small editing team - reviewing, guiding, and maintaining consistency.
  • A hands-on editor: You can jump into DaVinci Resolve to cut, grade, and animate when needed.
  • A platform native: You know what works on Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and YouTube long-form.
  • A detail-obsessed creative: Every caption, transition, and sound cue is deliberate and high-standard.
  • A calm director on set: You can make founders comfortable, troubleshoot gear, and keep shoots efficient.
  • A systems operator: You think in workflows - how footage moves from shoot → edit → review → publish.
What you'll own:
  • Pre-production: Plan shoots, briefs, and creative direction with Founders and Creative Lead.
  • Production: Film premium talking-head and b-roll content (Sony FX3, sLog3, multi-cam, gimbal, drone).
  • Post-production management:

  • Build and maintain project timelines.

  • Assign, review, and QA edits from our local and offshore editors.
  • Ensure all output matches brand and platform requirements.
  • Hands-on editing: Deliver selected content personally, especially high-impact or specific creative ideas that are harder to outsource.
  • Creative direction: Contribute to content/brand strategy that performs.
  • Quality control: Approve all final exports before delivery and upload.

  • Our clients leave shoots saying: "That was the easiest, most professional experience I've had." or "Hey team, we have been getting heaps of enquiries and everyone is loving the content"
  • Their content looks world-class on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube; and builds trust and provides value like no other.
