The Opportunity
Our Client seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable contractor for a three months contract with the view of extension for another 3 months. In this role, you will be involved in end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensuring all transactions are processed with accuracy, in line with compliance standards and business deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellence.

The
Role
Duties Will Include

  • Process accounts payable, from invoice processing to payment runs
  • Review and verify invoices and payment requests
  • Prepare and process EFT, BPay, and cheque payments
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure timely month-end close, including accruals and journal entries
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve queries
  • Utilise your Excel skills for reconciliations, and data analysis

Skills And Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have
:

  • Experience in a high-volume accounts payable position
  • Proven track record of delivering accurate and timely financial processing
  • Strong understanding of the AP process
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach
