Conveyancer - Victoria

About the Role

As a Team Leader within our Victorian Conveyancing team, you'll play a pivotal role in managing residential files, including sales, purchases, and off-the-plan, while providing guidance and support to a team of conveyancing assistants. You'll ensure files are managed efficiently, clients receive exceptional service, and the team operates with accuracy, consistency, and care. Working closely with senior management, you'll report on team performance, contribute to process improvements, and help foster a positive, collaborative client-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end conveyancing files
• Prepare and lodge contracts, Section 32s, PEXA settlements
• Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders
• Stay ahead of deadlines and compliance
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members
• Delegate workloads and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met
• Report on team performance and identify opportunities for improvement

What You'll Need

• Conveyancing License
• 4+ years' conveyancing experience (Victoria)
• Confident with PEXA & Duties Online
• Strong file management & client service skills
• Experience leading a small team (preferred)
• A proactive, supportive leadership style, great communication and a team-first mindset
