The silly season is about to hit like a double-kick pedal, and Kosmic Sound is gearing up for the ultimate retail jam session.

We're hunting for casual legends who can keep up when the volume (and the customer line) is set to MAX.

The Gigs (Pick Your Weapon):

  • Till Operator / Customer Service:

  • You're the frontline hero ringing up sales, flashing the kind of smile that makes customers want to buy two instead of one, and keeping the cashflow tighter than a snare drum. You process sales like a ninja, slay rogue receipts before they escape into the wild, and answer "Do you have this in stock?" with the speed and confidence of someone who definitely knows.

  • Drum Staff

  • You live for the thump, the crash, and the rumble. Whether it's selling the perfect kit, explaining why 16" crashes are life, or gently steering a customer away from a cowbell obsession, you keep the groove alive. You can talk paradiddles without sounding like you've short-circuited, and you know exactly which sticks make a drummer's heart skip a beat.

  • Guitar Staff:

  • From face-melting solos to gentle campfire strums, you help customers find the one. You can explain humbuckers vs single coils without putting anyone to sleep. You speak fluent tone, and you know the difference between "just browsing" and "needs that guitar yesterday."

  • Tech Staff :

  • You're the wizard behind the beeps, boops, and bass drops. From PA systems to synths, you make the tech work like magic (and look cool doing it). You can troubleshoot a dodgy cable in seconds, set up a rig with your eyes closed, and politely tell people they really don't need 37 adaptors. You turn "it's not working" into "it's alive" before the coffee's even kicked in.

  • Warehouse :
  • You get excited at the thought of a fresh box cutter and can tell the difference between a capo and a guitar cable. This one's a bit more physical so fitness is a little more important. Yes, a forklift license would be a bonus, but not essential.

You'll fit right in if you:

  • Can handle retail chaos like a pro roadie at a festival.
  • Actually like talking to people (even the ones who hum instead of remembering the song name).
  • Know the difference between a guitar lead and a kettle lead.
  • Don't crumble under pressure – unless it's a cookie.
