About the roleThe Customer Health and Wellness Coach is the first point of contact for clients, guiding them through their health journey and helping them achieve the health goals. This role combines customer support, motivational coaching, administration, and service coordination to make the client experience smooth, supportive, and effective. You will be working with a world class team of functional health practitioners forging the future of health.
You will provide timely, empathetic communication, decision making, coordinate bookings, manage logistics, and ensure clients are connected with the right clinical or operational support. Acting as a trusted partner, you help clients feel confident and cared for every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities- Customer service experience and a passion for health.
- Serve as the first line of support for client enquiries via phone, email, and digital channels.
- Act as a primary point of contact for our clients to ensure they feel safe, supported and wrapped within a clinical team.
- Demonstrate active listening skills and live decision making and problem solving to ensure our customer understands where they are up to in their journey, the goals they are achieving and the key activities they need to undertake to achieve their health and longevity outcomes.
- Providing support, advice, motivational counselling and coaching to ensure our clients remains accountable to their goals.
- Provide transparency in escalation processes and ensure the client understands at all times what is happening with their case and who and when their next clinical contact will be.
- Guide Clients through onboarding, appointments, testing, and follow-up processes.
- Act as an integral part of the clinical team to ensure seamless scheduling, communication, and care delivery.
- Manage administrative tasks including data entry, record-keeping, and follow-up reminders.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within our systems.
- Support continuous improvement of customer experience by sharing insights and feedback.
- Strong communication skills with a warm, supportive, empathetic, and professional manner.
- Organised and detail-oriented with excellent time management.
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solver who can handle client needs with care and efficiency.
- Confident using digital platforms and reading electronic records.
- Commitment to privacy, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
- Confident working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration, customer support, or a patient-facing role.
- Degree qualified or certified in relevant health disciplines, eg. sports science, exercise physiology, nutrition, dietetics, online digital health.
- Familiarity with medical, functional or wellness services.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust across phone and digital channels.
- Interest in health, wellness, and proactive care.
