About the role
As an Enrolled Nurse (EN) at Akooramak, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to our residents. This part-time opportunity is based in Warwick, QLD 4370, where you will contribute to the overall wellbeing and quality of life for our aged care community.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care to our aged care residents
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for residents
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and personalised care
- Administering medication and monitoring residents' health status
- Documenting clinical notes and maintaining accurate patient records
- Providing emotional support and promoting independence for residents
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and legislation
What we're looking for
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse in Australia
- Demonstrated experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for caring for older adults and enhancing their quality of life
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
