We are looking for a Senior Medical Receptionist to join our close-knit team on a casual or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in a General Practice setting, excellent customer services skills with a friendly disposition.

There is a requirement for flexibility with some evening shifts and Saturday mornings.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting and greeting patients on arrival.
  • Answering patient queries and booking appointments.
  • Preparation and receipting of patient accounts through Prac soft.
  • Scanning documents into Best Practice.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Opening and closing the surgery.

Essential selection criteria:

  • At least 12 months experience in a General Practice Setting.
  • Excellent phone manner.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Computer competency.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good time management.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Reliable.
  • Team player.
