Calling on General Practitioner fellows with previous ED or Urgent Care work experience, seeking either permanent part time or casual ad hoc sessions in Cairns. Up to $250 per hour. (8:00am to 10:00pm or Weekends until 6:00pm).

All applicants must be AHPRA GP Specialist Registration. (No supervision offer)

This opportunity may be perfect for a FRACGP already working in Cairns, who is keen to boost their current income by practicing a handful of extra sessions over the Christmas holidays (20th DEC-17th JAN) . Alternatively the clinic is interested in Doctors seeking part time permanent sessions. The locum shifts may be the perfect opportunity to try the clinic out first 

Cairns is the tropical paradise of Australia and boasts warm weather all year around, which can be a very attractive prospect for those who have endured the winter months of NSW and Victoria For those considering relocation to the tropics, Cairns is an approved DPA MM2 and suitable for FRACGPs who are subject to 19AB moratorium location restrictions, as well as Unrestricted GPs.

On Offer:

  • Casual or Permanent Urgent Care
  • $200-$250 per hr rate for Doctor
  • Hours available 8:00am-10:00pm
  • OR Weekends 9:00am to 6:00pm

Requirements:

  • General Practitioners with specialist registration with AHPRA: FRACGP, FARGP, FACRRM, FRNZCGP or equivalent is a must.
  • GP FRACGPs subject to the Moratorium (19AB) are most welcome.
