Jindalee, Queensland, Australia New Directions Psychology Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

New Directions Psychology is seeking a psychologist to join our team.

We would welcome applications from all areas of endorsement, as well as general and registrar psychologists.

We are motivated for a quick recruitment and welcome all expressions of interest.

New Directions Psychology is a longstanding private practice in Jindalee, with a well-established referral base. Our clinic provides a range of services to the greater Brisbane community, including:

  1. Evidence-based, clinical psychological intervention to individuals, families and couples across the lifespan. Our clients consult with us for a wide range of concerns. We have found our work at New Directions Psychology rewarding due to our community's diverse range of presentations. Although, if desired, there is also scope to focus on specific areas of interest that you as a prospective psychologist may hold. Targeted advertising can take place to promote your interest and capacity for those presentations.
  2. We support learning and development. We are motivated to continuously grow and broaden the range of services that can be offered to our community. As such, successful applicants will be supported in acquiring the skills and resources to deliver services within their interest areas. For example, training in the provision of evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments; training and supervision for specific clinical interventions that are used by our psychologists; and a negotiated stipend for professional development. We offer regular clinic-wide peer supervision, and welcome casual discussion or consultation wherever needed.

Employment options are highly flexible. We are happy to negotiate: whether you are employed by New Directions Psychology on a part-time or full-time basis; whether you contract to New Directions Psychology; and/or a hybrid work arrangement for administrative work and a partial telehealth client load.
