The Role

We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Branch Manager to lead our Newcastle branch in Heatherbrae. This is an opportunity to step into a role where you'll have real influence, genuine support and the chance to shape the future of our branch while enjoying the balance that comes with being part of a family-run team.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading and inspiring your team to achieve their best every day.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Overseeing branch operations including safety, service, compliance and financial performance (P&L management, budgets, forecasting).
  • Driving growth opportunities by maximising current and future contracts.
  • Creating a culture where safety, teamwork and continuous improvement come first.

About You

You might already be in a Branch Manager role or perhaps a Transport Industry Operations Manager ready for a fresh challenge. Either way, we want someone who is a skilled motivator with a positive attitude and ready to roll up their sleeves to influence real results. We value personality, drive and determination over industry experience – if you've got the attitude, we'll support your success.

You'll bring

  • Strong leadership experience in waste management, transport, or logistics.
  • Proven ability to manage operations and deliver results.
  • A track record in P&L management and commercial success.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability and bringing out the best in your team.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A positive, team-first attitude
  • Have a drivers licence and reliable transport
  • Able to pass a medical and regular random Drug & Alcohol testing
