Experienced Dental/Orthodontic Assistant Nurse

We are currently seeking a skilled, ready to learn, long term dental assistant to join our team where you will be an integral part of our tight knit family.

This opportunity allows both teamwork and independent responsibilities in running a boutique orthodontic practice.

A successful candidate for our practice

  • A positive and outgoing team player who also takes on independent tasks reliably and efficiently
  • Holds themselves to a high standard without expectations
  • General assisting chairside for orthodontists, hygienists and oral health therapists
  • Welcoming patients to the practice and being part of the new patient experience including chairside skills: x-rays, taking photos and scanning [iTero]
  • Excellent scribing skills for note taking
  • Pouring models and fabricating retainers
  • Great attention to infection control
  • Helping front desk if necessary
  • You are empowered to go above and beyond, and valued as an important member of our team
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and protocols
  • For the right candidate, specific orthodontic skills can be taught if one's attitude and values coincide with the practice and our team
  • Permanent residents are preferred by not essential
