The role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chemical Warehouse Operator to join our team at Challenge Chemicals' facility in Kwinana Beach, Western Australia. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient and safe storage and distribution of our specialty chemical products.

What you'll be doing

  • Receiving, storing and distributing a range of hazardous and non-hazardous chemical products
  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels
  • Ensuring all warehouse operations comply with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Assisting in the preparation of delivery orders and coordinating with transport providers
  • Performing general warehouse housekeeping duties to maintain organisation and cleanliness
  • Mixing and blending product
  • Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in the warehouse

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in warehousing, logistics or chemical handling
  • Forklift and materials handling equipment operation skills and certification
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers and data
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices
  • Familiarity with chemical safety and hazardous substances handling procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, safety-conscious approach to work
