Three Little Birds Allied Health Allied Health is a well-established and expanding multi-disciplinary practice, seeking a qualified full or part time Occupational Therapist in the Guildford region to join our team.

Duties:

  • Managing a caseload of clients and designing therapy programs to work towards achieving their goals.
  • Assessing clients' functional capacity including physical, mental and emotional abilities through clinical assessment.
  • Writing quality reports.
  • Liaising with other health professionals, vendors, carers or other valued members to accomplish a holistic outcome for the client.
  • Provide best practice evidence-based support services that increase clients' life skills and independence.
  • Bringing your unique creativity and personality into therapy sessions

About you:

  • Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA) and compliance with AHPRA standards.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) (or ability to obtain this).
  • National Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain this).
  • NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) (or ability to obtain this).
  • ABN and insurance (if working as a subcontractor).
  • Great organisation, communication & time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • A passion for making therapy enjoyable and engaging for clients
  • Must be an Australian citizen.

additionally, new graduates are encouraged to apply and will be extensively trained and supervised under our new grad program. Supervision for new graduates will be provided on a weekly basis as well as support throughout the week. New graduates can start with a small caseload and work up to a desired agreed caseload to the new graduate's capacity. New graduates will be equipped with the tools needed to navigate their new career and offered professional development opportunities.

Admin support is provided as well as flexible hours, including weekend opportunities (if desired) to ensure work-life balance.

Job Types: Subcontract, Full-time and Part-time or Casual (pay is based on job and experience).

Pay: Upwards of $90k p.a. (excluding super + bonus) depending on caseload.
