Mojo Motorcycles is a well-established motorcycle, scooter and ATV (all-terrain vehicle) distributor, servicing 150 dealers throughout Australia.

Operating from distribution and administrative headquarters in Altona (Vic), Mojo Motorcycles is the exclusive distributor for CFMOTO, Sherco, KYMCO, Lambretta, Landboss and Surron in Australia.

The company has enjoyed strong growth since its founding in 2003, with a vision to become a leader across its market categories. To support ongoing expansion, Mojo Motorcycles is now recruiting for a Vehicle Inspection & Workshop Controller.

About the Role

Reporting to the Technical & Warranty Manager, this is a diverse and hands-on position responsible for the operation of Mojo's vehicle inspection and technical workshop. The successful applicant will oversee the end-to-end inspection and preparation of new vehicles to ensure they are assembled, checked, and ready for distribution to the dealer network.

Key responsibilities include:

· Inspecting, un-crating, and assembling vehicles when required to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements.

· Managing all aspects of the workshop, ensuring it remains clean, organised, and operating efficiently.

· Coordinating with the goods-receipting team to verify VIN data and inspection processes for all incoming vehicles.

· Monitoring company tools and safety equipment, ensuring they are tested, labelled, and maintained per OH&S requirements.

· Performing service and warranty repair work on demonstrator, media and dealer returns, ensuring timely turnaround and quality outcomes.

· Liaising with vehicle suppliers to identify and resolve any quality or technical issues.

· Supporting the dealer technical team via phone or email when time permits.

About You:

You will be a trade-qualified technician with a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a passion for motorcycles and powersports vehicles. You will be capable of balancing technical precision with workshop organisation and accountability.

Essential skills and attributes include:

· Relevant mechanical trade qualification (motorcycle, automotive or equivalent).

· Excellent understanding of vehicle assembly, inspection and quality control processes.

· Strong organisational and time-management skills.

· Ability to work independently with initiative and accountability.

· Confident communicator with internal teams and external suppliers.

· Sound computer literacy (Excel, email, inventory systems).

This position is based at Mojo Motorcycles' Altona headquarters, with hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
