Mechanical Draftsperson

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer for our Drafting & Engineering team in Toowoomba, Queensland.

About the role:

• Predominantly using Inventor, VAULT, and AutoCAD
• Translating concept designs to detailed designs for internal and external projects
• Maintenance of design records and maintenance of records and documentation
• Completion of shop floor drawings on an as needs basis
• Projects include agricultural, commercial storage and handling, feedlots, mining and plastics
• You will work to support our Estimating, Manufacturing and Project Management teams

Selection criteria for this role includes:

• Trade qualifications and/or degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Working knowledge and experience in a Mechanical Design
• Working knowledge of the Australian Standards
• Must have a focus on problem solving, precision, durability and innovation
• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
• Strong written, verbal communication, analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
