About the Role

We are seeking passionate Waitstaff / Bartender / Sommelier to join the opening team at Fujitori Yakitori & Sake Bar, a brand-new Japanese dining concept in Neutral Bay.

This full-time position is key to helping launch and establish one of Sydney's most exciting new restaurants. You'll help to deliver an authentic and memorable dining experience for our guests.


What You'll Do
  • Deliver attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
  • Take orders, serve dishes, and ensure a high-quality dining experience.
  • Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, including sake, cocktails, and wine (Bartender/Sommelier roles).
  • Provide recommendations on menu items and beverage pairings.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth, coordinated service.
  • Assist with stock management, table settings, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance the guest experience and service flow.

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to consistency and quality
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a growing brand
  • Previous experience in hospitality as Waitstaff, Bartender, or Sommelier (Japanese or modern Asian dining experience a plus)
  • Current RSA (or willingness to obtain before starting)
  • Legal right to work in Australia
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • Japanese speaking is a plus
