St Stephen's Catholic College is a Catholic co-educational secondary college offering a quality, educational experience for students from Years 7 to 12 on the Tablelands. Established in 2006 under the auspices of the Catholic Diocese of Cairns, St Stephen's focuses on providing excellent opportunities for young people to achieve their personal best.

About the Role

The Teacher of Diversity has a primary role in supporting students with a disability and/or who are EALD. They will work closely with teachers to plan and implement teaching strategies and programs that identify and respond to the individual needs of students. They will communicate with parents as key partners in the educational outcomes of students and liaise with visiting specialists, including Therapists and Inclusive Education Teachers to support student learning.

The diversity component of the role is at least two days with the remainder allocated to mathematics. This may change depending on school needs and candidate strengths.

Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate.
