Junior Estimator – Construction

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our construction team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your estimating career within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for a range of plasterboard and metal framing projects across Perth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for plasterboard and metal framing projects.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate pricing and scope alignment.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and verify pricing for materials and labour.
• Maintain and update cost databases, tender registers, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support senior estimators with quantity take-offs, scope reviews, and value engineering exercises.
• Attend site visits as required to understand project scope, site conditions, and construction constraints.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior staff to review and finalise pricing strategies and tender submissions.

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality work.
