The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to design, implement, and oversee our internal audit function across finance, operations, project delivery, and compliance. You'll work closely with senior management, driving transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and deliver end-to-end internal audit assignments across finance, operations, procurement, and project delivery.
  • Evaluate and verify financial and operational processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Identify control weaknesses, business risks, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead business process reviews, risk assessments, and ad-hoc investigations.
  • Prepare and present clear, actionable audit reports to senior management.
  • Monitor progress against audit recommendations and promote accountability for outcomes.
  • Support broader governance and compliance initiatives including cost control, taxation planning, and financial systems review.

About You

You'll bring both professional discipline and commercial intuition, with the ability to navigate a fast-moving environment.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 5+ years' internal or external audit experience in a corporate, professional services, or commercial setting.
  • Considering or pursuing a professional qualification (CA, CPA, or CIA).
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with keen attention to detail.
