We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator (Marine Logistics Operator) to join our team in Brisbane. This will be a warehouse support role learning the functions of our Marine Logistics division.

Key responsibilities

  • Loading / Unloading of trucks (Counterbalance Forklift)
  • Controls cargo receiving, including check in, labelling and generating manifests using the WMS system
  • Picking and Put away of cargo into racking (High Reach Machine)
  • Co-ordinate air, sea and road shipment movement to the appropriate vessel or consignee per customer and stakeholder requirements
  • Utilisation of internal and external systems to facilitate vessel loading documents and pre-loading requirements
  • Complete end to end customer service functions, including liaison with relevant GEODIS offices, both interstate and overseas
  • Order management functions related to Projects and daily operations
  • Monitor and co-ordinate import and export shipments
  • Possible interstate and international travel when required to fit work scope
  • Vessel attendance when required. This will require weekend and early starts on a rostered basis
  • Arrange offload distribution

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 2 years' industry experience
  • Valid Driver's licence (Manual)
  • Forklift & High Reach Experience
  • Strong communication skills, e-mail etiquette and proficiency
  • Time management and prioritising skills
  • Proficient on Microsoft applications
  • WH&S Awareness
