What We're Looking For
Ampcontrol are seeking a new team member to join their High Voltage Field Service crew based in Brisbane, QLD. You will play a pivotal role in HV statutory testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations as part of a professional and positive team.

  • Proven track record of working with HV electrical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot & diagnose issues in HV Systems
  • Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures
  • Understanding of industry standards for HV work
  • Service experience in the electrical trades/technical roles
  • A commitment to providing exceptional client and customer service
  • Team orientated person
  • Ability to adapt to fast changing environments and situations
  • Ability to learn quickly and deliver to set timeframes
  • Prepared to travel regularly

Education / Experience

  • Electrical trade qualifications
  • HV Switching certificate
  • Protection Relay Testing
  • Transformers Testing
  • Switchgear Maintenance & Testing
  • Earth Testing
  • HV cable fault locating and testing (VLF / TD)
  • Partial Discharge Testing
  • Functional Performance Testing (FPT) & Compliance
  • Supporting Preparation & implementation of commissioning plans
  • Documentation of all work performed, including maintenance & customer reports
  • Familiar in the use of: Doble F6150, Omicron CMC 256/356, Omicron CPC 100
