Altitude is seeking a Service Desk Engineer
for a Managed Services provider of IT infrastructure solutions located in Docklands VIC.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support Windows Server environments (2008–2019+) including Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP across diverse client networks
  • Manage and support Exchange, Office 365, IIS, SQL Server 2016 Enterprise, and Intune device management
  • Leverage automation platforms (Datto RMM, AutoTask) and develop PowerShell, VBS, and SQL scripts for proactive maintenance and reporting
  • Respond to incidents and service requests in line with SLAs, resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver infrastructure projects and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in systems/infrastructure engineering or desktop support, ideally within an MSP environment
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, Office 365, Windows Server, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, VBS, SQL) to streamline tasks and reporting
  • Experience or exposure to VMware virtualisation, Dell EMC/Nutanix storage, and Veeam backup technologies (advantageous)
  • Strong communication, documentation, customer service and stakeholder-management skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and industry certifications
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
