About the Role:

S T Plant Hire is seeking motivated and physically fit Labourers to assist in the construction of retaining walls across a range of civil and landscaping projects. This is a hands-on role ideal for those with experience in construction, landscaping, or similar outdoor work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the construction and installation of concrete, block, rock, and timber retaining walls

  • Operate hand and power tools (e.g., shovels, compactors, levels)

  • Load and unload materials

  • Maintain a clean and safe job site

  • Support tradespeople with daily tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in civil construction or retaining wall installation preferred

  • White Card (Construction Induction Card) – mandatory

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently when required

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and manual labour

  • Reliable transport and valid driver's licence

Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential):

  • Experience with mini excavators or skid steer loaders

  • First Aid certificates

  • Ability to read plans and use laser levels
