Bicycle Mechanic

We are a new bike store opening up on the Northern Beaches of Perth. We sell a range of e-bikes, road bikes, kids bikes and commuters. We are looking for keen bicycle mechanic who wants to grow our small workshop and make it their own. You will be skilled in at least basic bike mechanics but more experience would be preferrable. Some training can be provided. Ideally (but not necessary) the applicant would be a keen cyclist themselves, be an organised worker and also able to comfortably speak with customers. The role would include but not be limited to the following:

• Diagnosing and repairing customers bikes. This would include e-bikes and running the necessary diagnostics.

• Servicing customers bikes from a basic service to a full strip and rebuild. This would include wheel truing and building, replacing various bearings, brake bleeds, gear adjustment (mechanical and electronic) etc.

• Bike assembly from out of the box.

• Ordering parts as required

• Some customer service

Renumeration will be based on experience and knowledge.
