Multi-Combination (MC) Truck Driver

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced MC Driver to join our team at Derrimut VIC.

What you'll be doing
  • Loading and unloading goods in compliance with axle weights, load restraint regulations, and Company requirements
  • Delivering goods to customers in the Perth Metro area and occassional daylight changeover runs into regional locations
  • Undertake pre and post trip vehicle inspections, and report any faults, issues, or maintenance that may be required
  • Driving and operating vehicles in a safe and courteous manner, observing all applicable road rules and Company policies/procedures
  • Ensuring loads are secure and the vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy condition
  • Complying with chain of responsibility requirements
  • Completing required transport and delivery documentation accurately, and in a timely way
  • Ensure all company equipment remains secure, clean and well kept at all times
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including fatigue management and workplace health and safety
  • Comply with transport legislative requirements at all times (driving hours limits, required breaks, shift work etc).
  • Reporting any required vehicle maintenance.
About you

Here are the skills and qualifications you'll need to be considered for these roles.

  • Current MC licence
  • Minimum of two years' MC driving experience
  • Must be licensed in accordance with the VIC regulations to Transport Bulk Dangerous Goods
  • Understanding and awareness of COR, NHVAS, and fatigue management
  • Strong customer and safety focus
  • Skilled in writing documentation with attention to detail
  • Great work ethic and self-motivated
  • Proven reliability
  • Awareness of relevant workplace health and safety requirements
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to use a smart device
  • Ability to comply with Company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
