Town Planning Internship (3-Month Program)

About Us

Smart Town Planning Pty Ltd is a professional consultancy specialising in development approvals, strategic planning, and planning scheme amendments across Victoria. We assist clients in navigating complex planning processes, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with local and state planning policies.

About the Role

We are seeking motivated and passionate individuals for our
three-month internship program
in Town Planning. This opportunity provides practical, hands-on experience in the private planning sector, working alongside a team of experienced planners and consultants on real development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of town planning reports, planning permit applications, and RFI responses.
  • Conduct planning research, site and policy analysis, and review of planning schemes.
  • Support in project coordination, client communication, and documentation management.
  • Participate in internal meetings and learn about development assessment and council submission processes.
  • Contribute to drafting planning documents and providing administrative support as required.
