Albert Smith Signs is one of Australia's market leaders in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of quality signage. The Brandcare division of Albert Smith Signs is a highly skilled team of signage professionals, responsible for all onsite activities and dedicated to ensuring our customers 'brand integrity. Brandcare operates Australia-wide. The Role Due to recent growth within our Brandcare installation and maintenance division, we have available Signage Installer positions, with opportunity for career progression. The Signage Installer is responsible for installing and maintaining signage, with an emphasis on quality workmanship and professionalism. Under the direction of the Project Managers, the role will involve the daily management of allocated works, which includes adherence to all OH&S regulations, client liaison onsite, and the use of project documentation. You will be working with a wide variety of products such as our innovative LED signage, large scale building signs, public art sculptures, high level signage, and much more.

Able to travel within Queensland and Interstate. Problem solving and providing solutions Communication skills on multiple levels Focused on Customer satisfaction and service Multitasking of concurrent projects Ideally your background will demonstrate at least 2 years' experience working within the sign industry with exposure to commercial signage installation. Alternatively, carpentry or experience within the building / construction industry will also be viewed as an advantage. Working Hours The position is based in Brisbane with interstate travel as required. The position is full time, Monday to Friday, with a rotating roster of day to evening works, and the flexibility to work Saturdays dependent on installation schedules. Overtime and penalty rates will be paid accrued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain various types of signage (LED, large-scale, public art, high-level)
  • Ensure quality workmanship and uphold brand integrity
  • Manage daily tasks under Project Manager's direction
  • Adhere to OH&S regulations
  • Liaise with clients onsite
  • Use and interpret project documentation

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in signage, construction, carpentry, or handyman work
  • Willingness to travel within QLD and interstate
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage concurrent projects
  • Minimum 2 years in signage or related industry preferred

Ideally your background will demonstrate at least 2 years' experience working within the sign industry with exposure to commercial signage installation. Alternatively, carpentry or experience within the building / construction industry will also be viewed as an advantage.
