Seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to support our growing speech pathology team in our multidisciplinary practice.
Making Milestones is an exciting, supportive Allied Health Practice in Adelaide's Northern and Western Suburbs. Our team is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an additional experienced speech pathologist to help our speech pathology team leader to support our growing speech team.
We support children and adults with disabilities and their families to flourish now and into a bright future. We provide individual therapy including speech pathology, OT, psychology, social work, dietetics, and allied health assistants. We also have group programs, including social skills groups and fussy eaters programs, as well as sensory playgroup. We are expanding our team of talented, dedicated, and innovative clinicians with a diverse range of skills and experience to provide a positive, fun and supportive multi disciplinary service.
Making Milestones can offer you:
- An interesting and varied paediatric or mixed caseload.
- Opportunity for individual and group therapy, in clinic, as well as in schools, childcare centres and client homes.
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team that is fun and supportive.
- A chance to work alongside our speech pathology team leader to support our speech pathology team and be part of our multidisciplinary leadership group.
- Brand-new, purpose-built facilities, in Welland, west of the city and the new Eyre development in Adelaide's north, with modern, well equipped treatment rooms, groups spaces, and a sensory room.
- An extensive range of therapy resources.
- Administrative support as well as weekly clinical support.
- $1000 per year PD allowance plus 4 days paid training leave.
- Opportunity to pursue your personal interests and passions and share these with our team.
- Salary negotiated based on experience.
What you will need:
- Qualifications as a Speech Pathologist and CPSP accreditation with SPA.
- Passion and at least four years experience in working with children with disabilities and developmental challenges and their families.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to relate effectively to children, adolescents, families, team members and other providers.
- Current RAN, Childsafe and appropriate DCSI clearances.
- Full Time or Part Time Positions considered.
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders, NDIS, group therapy and feeding therapy an advantage.
