The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) is looking for a motivated and experienced Clinical Research Officer (CRO) to lead and grow our clinical research capabilities right her in regional South Australia.

How you'll help us drive Research forward
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Medical Services, you'll be coordinating and supporting clinical research across the network. From implementing strategic research frameworks to strengthening governance and boosting research capacity, your role will be pivotal in making YNLHN a recognised leader in rural clinical research.
You'll work closely with clinicians, trainees, students, and external researchers to make sure the research we do is impactful, ethical, and beneficial to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and roll out the YNLHN Strategic Research Framework, including research governance protocols and compliance with the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework;
- Support grant writing and foster collaborations with external researchers to attract funding and expand research opportunities;
- Provide hands-on support and mentoring to clinicians, students and trainees undertaking research projects or clinical trials;
- Oversee research governance activities - liaising with stakeholders, reviewing applications, managing amendments, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements; and
- Coordinate data management and research support activities, including training clinical staff in ethics, governance and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
