About the role
Furniture Fitouts is seeking a skilled and reliable Furniture Removalist to join our team in Belmont, WA (moving from Canning Vale August as a full-time Furniture Removalist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of furniture and other household items for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company in the interior design industry.
What you'll be doing
- Carefully and safely disassemble, load, transport and reassemble furniture and other household items
- Operate moving trucks and equipment with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the moving process
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the moving vehicles and equipment
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure all moving tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Furniture Removalist or in a similar role within the warehousing, storage and distribution industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle furniture and household items with care
- Good physical fitness and stamina to manage the physical demands of the role
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A valid C class driver's licence and experience operating moving trucks and equipment essential
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner
- Forklift licence, HR licence and MR Licence would be an advantage
