Microsoft Power Platform Developer
Health Business Systems (HBS) Branch deliver and operationally manage a suite of D365 business applications at the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. The D365 platform is a strategic business applications delivery platform for better collaboration, resource optimization and to deliver integrated solutions.

The HBS delivery teams are structured into Agile Release Trains (ARTs). Agile Release Train (ARTs) operate with multiple scrum teams operating in DevOps model within Scaled Agile framework (SAFe). HBS is working towards capacity based, capability funded model to leverage multiple productivity benefits of SAFe framework. In the DevOps model Delivery and Operational responsibility are assigned within scrum teams.

A Software Engineer (Microsoft Power Platform Developer) in the Health Business Systems Branch (HBS) will have experience overseeing software development projects and writing optimised code of a high quality.

As a Software Engineer (Microsoft Power Platform Developer) you will be part of the Agile product team, and under direction, you will help design, develop, implement and support the required systems and business solutions.

As a Software Engineer (Microsoft Power Platform Developer) you
will:

• Collaborate with development teams and product owners to create innovative software solutions, that align with architectural patterns and design standards.
• Create and enhance new/existing software products and apps that are based on MS D365 Platform.
• Work as part of a highly motivated and cohesive team using agile approaches to design, develop, implement, and support technical solutions that deliver business outcomes, including collaboration to review and provide feedback on other developer's codes, for quality assurance.

Key duties and responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities for the Software Engineer (Microsoft Power Platform Developer) in HBS include, but are not limited to the following:

• Requirement / user story review feedback.
• Solution designs, including options analysis where several viable solutions may be possible.
• Develop Microsoft Power Platform based solutions, in accordance with the agreed design, to deliver the capabilities required by the business requirements.
• Develop solution documentation and configuration/code comments.
• Peer solution/code review feedback
• Release/deployment/implementation of documentation.
• Work in a DevOps framework to support the deployed solutions.

Technical skills

• Minimum 5 years' experience across multiple tech/IT disciplines with specialisations or expertise in one or more areas.
• Knowledge and experience in Scaled Agile (SAFe) or agile delivery.
• Relevant IT qualifications/certifications.

Work Arrangements
Hybrid - The preferred work location is Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Brisbane. The Labour Hire Worker is required to work from the applicable office a minimum of 2 days per week. A Working from Home Agreement must be formalised with the Buyer representative before commencing flexible work arrangements. Work hours are between 7am and 7pm weekdays. The Labour Hire Worker must adhere to the annual closedown as defined in the Buyers' Enterprise Agreement and public holidays.
