About the role

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Casual Sales Assistant to join our team at our Bedshed store in Townsville, QLD. In this casual position, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with daily store operations. Whether it's helping customers find the perfect bedding solution or ensuring our store looks its best, this is an excellent opportunity to build your skills in retail and develop your passion for delivering outstanding service.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers in a warm and welcoming manner
  • Demonstrating product knowledge to help customers find the right products for their needs
  • Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the store
  • Restocking and organising product displays
  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the bedding or furniture industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers and provide a high level of service
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • A positive, friendly and helpful attitude
