Fast-growing profitable SaaS who are rapidly emerging as a key player in the industry are looking to hire a talented Product Owner with hands-on experience in B2B SaaS to work closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver valuable outcomes for our customers.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of balancing user needs with business objectives, and who thrives in a fast-moving agile environment.

Location:
Homebush, Sydney (Onsite with some flexibility)

Remuneration:
140-150K + super

Responsibilities:

  • Own the product backlog: write, refine, and prioritise user stories in collaboration with the business
  • Manage the design resource to align with product objectives and deliverables.
  • Guide estimation processes with technical and design teams to enable informed business decisions.
  • Lead sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring the team has clear goals and a shared understanding of scope
  • Run structured product discovery with customers and stakeholders to identify needs, test assumptions, and validate opportunities
  • Translate discovery insights into detailed requirements and user stories that are ready for development
  • Use data and customer feedback to guide decision-making and identify areas for improvement
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery and quality of product releases
  • Track product performance post-launch and drive iterations based on usage data and qualitative feedback

Candidates should have:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Strong experience working in Agile teams, leading sprint ceremonies and managing a product backlog
  • Proven track record running product discovery using both qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Comfortable writing clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria that engineers and designers can work from
  • Good understanding of customer needs and the ability to prioritise work that solves real problems
  • Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, and product analytics platforms (e.g. Amplitude, Mixpanel, Pendo)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to navigate technical and non-technical conversations
  • Analytical mindset — you use data to inform decisions and can structure hypotheses, experiments, and measures of success
  • A collaborative working style and a genuine interest in helping your team do great work
  • Experience working with enterprise customers or complex user environments
  • Familiarity with API-first platforms or technical products
  • Any experience working with Pendo would be amazing
