Position Descriptor:

Elizabeth O'Grady Kindergarten is a South Australian Department for Education preschool in Grange, known for its community-focused approach and high-quality education program. The kindergarten focuses on skills like exploration, problem-solving, and social interaction, with a strong commitment to sustainable practices.

What you will do:

- Collaborate with preschool colleagues to engage in a cycle of critical reflection to maintain meeting and work towards embedding the 7 National Quality Standard areas.

• Contribute to the continuous cycle of planning, implementation and evaluation of learning in an early years setting in collaboration with other educators.

• Participate in developing and facilitating differentiated curriculum and environmental adjustments for individual early years learners.

• Write, implement, review and evaluate SMARTAR goals and One plans.

• Contribute to the implementation of the sites Reconciliation Action Plan.

• Be able to work in a longer day preschool setting (maximum 8 hour day).

• Engage in practices that support DfE policies and practices, site specific policies and practices, including WHS requirements.

• Participate in the bi-annual cycle of PDP conversations to reflect on practice, consider strengths, and identify the supports needed to continue learning and achieving our goals.
