The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership position at a fast-growing performance agency. You'll take the reins on client delivery, oversee the success of our paid media accounts, and begin shaping the internal frameworks, systems, and SOPs that drive how we scale.
You'll work directly with the founder and our partners to own and grow the marketing division — from managing existing campaigns to building the playbook for how MarketShark delivers results at scale. This is ideal for someone who's been a senior strategist, performance lead, or marketing manager in an agency and is ready for that next leap.
What You'll Do
Lead, manage, and optimise Google Ads and Meta Ads across multiple clients.
Build and oversee internal systems, workflows, and delivery processes.
Own the entire delivery cycle — from onboarding to strategy, execution, optimisation, and reporting (you will hire and oversee juniors for this pretty quick)
Strategise and oversee multi-channel campaigns (Google, Meta, SEO collaboration).
Bring and implement your own frameworks, SOPs, and best practices for scalable delivery.
Guide creative direction — write/test ad copy, plan hooks, angles, and messaging.(you will hire and oversee juniors for this pretty quick)
Communicate proactively with clients, ensure clear reporting and results-focused conversations.
Collaborate with the founder on team structure, performance, and future hiring.
Introduce and improve tech stacks (GHL, GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, Asana, etc.).
Take initiative — find and fix inefficiencies, lead improvement, and drive growth.
What We Expect
5–8+ years' experience in digital marketing (agency environment preferred).
Proven leadership experience — managing teams, freelancers, or departments.
Hands-on expertise with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and funnel optimisation.
Strong understanding of structure, testing, scaling, and reporting frameworks.
Experience handling $50k–$100k+ in monthly ad spend.
Confident communicator who can own client relationships and lead delivery.
Analytical mindset — you know the "why" behind every data point.
High personal standards — results, communication, and accountability.
Experience with Go High Level (GHL) or similar CRM/automation tools is a huge plus.
Self-starter who thrives in independent work — no hand-holding required.
Must be based in Australia and have prior agency experience.
How You'll Work
Start: Full-time role (38 hrs/week)
Location: 100% remote within Australia.
Load: Realistic portfolio — quality over chaos.

Career Path
Months 1–2: Deep dive into systems, clients, and delivery processes, hands on.
Months 3–6: Full ownership of delivery and reporting. Begin building frameworks for scale.
Months 6–12: Step into leadership — oversee performance team, refine SOPs, mentor juniors or offshore support.
Beyond: Scale with MarketShark. Earn bonuses tied to growth, retention, and delivery excellence.
Compensation & Perks
Base salary: $90,000 – $120,000 + Super (depending on experience).
Performance bonuses negotiable based on retention, delivery success, and efficiency.
