Automotive Electrician

Job description:

Our client, Callide Valley Toyota, is looking for experienced Automotive Electrician to come work in a modern workshop with the support of a global automotive brand, offering above award remuneration and incentives as well as extensive training opportunities and programs.

Salary range is $75,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate must:

• Have an Industry level certification to operate as a Automotive Electrician in relevant state, territory or jurisdiction
• Have a developed knowledge of the automotive industry and experience in a similar role
• Have a current Australian State or Territory manual driver's licence

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components and systems in motor vehicles such as the engine, transmission and suspension systems
• Report all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range
• Test drive and conduct final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to guests
• Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values and The Toyota Way
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit
