About the role
The Dog Haus Grooming & Day Spa is seeking a casual Dog Washer to join our team in New Farm, Queensland. As a Dog Washer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our canine clients, ensuring they leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
This position requires a minimum availability of 2-3 days per week.
What you'll be doing
- Thoroughly washing, drying and brushing out dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Demonstrating the ability to safely handle and control large or aggressive dogs during washing and blow drying procedures
- Administering appropriate shampoos, conditioners, and treatments based on the dog's
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Knowing how to control a dog when being blow dried and washed
What we're looking for
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Must have previous experience in Dog Bathing or in similar industries
- Minimum of 3-6 months experience in dog grooming or a similar pet care role
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Familiarity with different dog breeds and their grooming requirements
